This was the beginning of a journey into the unknown. Out of nowhere I decided to become a "painter" even though I have never being one or ever taken any art classes - my previous attempt of drawing were stick figures. It was January 2019 when I decided to open my art studio and go for it - cold turkey. I thought that painting abstract pieces would be "safe" for someone like me without previous training. Yet, the muse or Divine Inspiration had other plans. Two small black dots emerged in the immense alabaster panel and slowly, there she was facing the dragon with the moon on her head, the sun behind her and the lotus holding her in all her magnificence.

It was May 10, 2020 - Mother's Day in the US. Feeling a bit blue missing my children and being alone.
Decided to not let my unmet expectations get me sad, I decided to start a new painting. I had the idea of creating a cave like effect by applying Prussian blue in all corners on the alabaster panel and go from there. I applied the color on the upper right corner and after an hour of applying it, when I pulled back, I exclaimed in surprise: "What the hell will I do with that!" And after a long pause, I asked: "What is that?" My mind answered: "Anunnaki." I Googled it and found out they have existed in ancient Mesopotamia.

This image came about when I was feeling so "in love"
The whole day I fantasized about seeing this person arriving later that day - A feeling so exhilarating of being in love and apprehensive about seeing him. I was flying through the clouds and feeling so much love...
Name: "Ancestral Mirror" - In Love
A deep feeling of desiring going within, to know the truth of my being.
A deep desire to retrieve, to go to a place where only I could be, alone...
A deep place within the desert, where the silence could speak to me.
